Science teacher, Virgil Beck, loves teaching life science to seventh graders. It's a unique window of development when they're thinking deeply about who they are and how their bodies work. As they learn about the inner workings of the human body, Virgil gives them an opportunity to show what they've learned about cells. This week, each seventh-grade student presented their models, re-interpreting a cell model. Students used paper plates, legos, and even video to illustrate their version of a cell. There were ships, Minecraft walk-throughs, dance studios, restaurants, and even a mobile truck! Great work, Explorer West Falcons!
