We were excited to welcome new families and see some familiar faces! The school year started September 1st with orientations for each grade. “It was so wonderful to gather together and see our community in person. And the weather couldn’t have been more perfect!” said Head of School, Barbara Frailey. Students played games, re-connected with each other, and talked about the upcoming year. They got to meet their teachers for the year and toured the building. At the end of the day, teachers asked everyone to describe the coming year with one word. Students answers included: yay!, fun, together, kindness, teamwork, awesomeness, participation, in-person, excitement, friendship and adventure.
Here’s a short recap of our Orientation days. We’re all looking forward to the first full day of school!
