Congratulations Falcons, Class of 2021!

In rain, sunshine, and wind, this year's graduates were given quite the send-off! We were so excited to be able to celebrate the  Class of 2021 with a one-of-a-kind commencement ceremony to end their one-of-a-kind year. For the first time in years, families gathered on our campus for the commencement ceremony. The Faculty Speaker, as chosen by the graduates, was Dean of Students and Drama Teacher, Tara Kaine. In her speech, she expressed her awe for this class's integrity, fire, and ability to be "boldly and unapologetically" themselves. Student Speakers included Makenzie, Kaito, Eden, Syan, Ella, Giselle, and Jude. Barbara Frailey, our Head of School, sent the graduates off with these words,

I'm excited for the experiences you'll have in high school and beyond, and the ways you'll make your marks in your own unique ways in a world that needs you pretty desperately. You are ready for it. Enjoy it. Be there for it. We are so very proud of you.

And proud of you, we are! Best of luck to all of our graduates as they head off to high schools. This year's graduates will go to schools including West Seattle, Chief Sealth, Maritime High School, Seattle Prep, The Bush School, and The Northwest School.
