You’re invited to Open House! Saturday, November 5

The seasons are changing, and we hope your families are enjoying Autumn! Here at Explorer West, we've been busy. 6th Graders are starting their play adaptations of Mo Willems' Elephant and Piggie books. In Music, students have been working on their pieces for the Winter Arts Night in January. In science, students have been pondering big questions like: how do boats float? How does the body repair a broken bone?
Our community is excited to share all of this and more at our first Open House this Saturday, November 5, at 11:30 AM. This event is for prospective students and their families! You'll meet members of our community, including teachers, students, and alumni, as well as have the opportunity for some fun activities.
Admission Events
If you can't join us this weekend, we have other opportunities to learn about our community. On Monday, November 7, we'll join other area middle schools at Our Lady of Guadalupe School for the Greater West Seattle Middle School Night. We also have weekly tours and an additional Open House on December 10 available through Ravenna.
You do not have to start an application to attend any of these events.
We can't wait to meet you!
If you have any questions, please reach out to Dawn Fornear, our Director of Admission and Community Engagement, with any questions: 206-935-0495 or
