Our MAGICAL Auction was a Huge Success!

Magic happened at Explorer West Middle School’s Annual Auction. We had amazing results and everyone had a terrific, magical evening.

We brought in over $150K, which included reaching our goal of $110,000 for our Rick Marting Endowment.

Volunteers created a festive land of Explorer West Magic

That brings the total gift amount to the Endowment to over $2 million. What a terrific tribute to Mr. H and a great accomplishment for our wonderful school. This will provide support for families for years to come and has been a dream of
Head of School Evan Hundley and our Board of Directors.

Explorer West logo Cheesecake, one of the many gorgeous desserts donated to our Dessert Dash

Over 130 guests enjoyed a festive night of lively bidding, delicious nibbles and dinner, a dessert dash and excellent company!

Alumni and students came. Parents came. Friends and family came. Current and past students acted as spotters, silent auction attendants and raffle hawkers and held everything else together!

There are still tickets to the May 31 student dance at SodoPop available. They are $40 each. If you would like to sponsor a student to attend (yours or another), please contact the office. Every student is able to come to the dance, whether their ticket is purchased by their family, or by someone else. We sold 72 at the auction, so we have 35 to go to sponsor all of our students. If you would like to help, please call 206-935-0495

Thank you to our many auction volunteers. The work was shared among so many people and it all came together for a great event. It takes a village, and we have one awesome village! Thank You!
