Every March, the Young Playwrights Festival showcases some of the best of the YPP, allowing selected students to see their playwriting work come to life with the help of a professional artistic team. A panel of professional artists reads all the student plays created during the Young Playwrights Program.
We are thrilled to announce that the play LONG LIVE THE DUST, written by Frances Laughlin and Julia Parks, has been selected to be performed in ACT’s 2019 Young Playwrights Festival.
“Long Live the Dust” is about Fluffita (a dust bunny) and her adventure in trying to get her grandfather back. A murderous evil French Vacuum, Pierre, vacuumed him up. On this breathtaking adventure, she meets her best friend, Harley, a hairball, and saves her grandfather.
