Student artists at work.

Explorer West Middle School is a small learning community where young people thrive. Our faculty and staff focus on the individual student to meet them where they are and build on their strengths and address areas where they need to grow. Explorer West Middle School combines academic rigor with a special emphasis on the character of each student by fostering confidence and discovery.

“Time has sculpted us all into something new, something better, and something that we could only dream about three years ago.”- 2013 Graduate

We know that choosing the best school for your child is important to you. Our application process is designed to give our Admissions Committee relevant information about each applicant while also providing families with the opportunity to learn more about our middle school.

If you are interested in Explorer West for Fall of 2015, we are currently full in 6th and 7th Grade. We have limited availability in 8th grade.
